I want to take a moment to thank all of those who have taken time out of their busy schedules to read posts on This Side of the Creek. You are why I do what I do.
When I started this blog, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. I didn’t know what direction it would take or exactly what I would post about. However, I’ve been pleased with the experience.
I must confess that my post topics come to me as quickly as rain crops up in the Ohio Valley. They hit me and when I sit down to type, I just start with the first word that comes into my mind. From there, I freewrite with the belief that God will put the right words onto the page through me. He does a pretty good job. I feel blessed for the talent He has given me and the way He uses me to reach others through real-life topics and experiences.
Next Sunday, May 15, my coworkers and I will head to Columbus for the Associated Press Society of Ohio awards ceremony where I will learn what place This Side of the Creek recieved in the Best Blog category. I’m really excited, but know without you I wouldn’t be where I am.
Thank you for believing in me, believing in the importance of mental health, and believing that we are all humans, but with different stories. I look forward to continuing life’s journey and sharing that with you. Know, too, that I am certainly open for feedback about what topics you would like to read posts about.
Happy Saturday!
Glad you decided to take the plunge!
